The meetings during the early years of the party were very important for many reasons, some of the events played a major role in the future to come, some did not. However, most of these badges tell us a big portion of history of these early years. Some of the badges shown here are not showcased anywhere else on the entire internet. Apart from the German NSDAP, this page also includes badges from the Austrian and Czech sister parties.
Reichsparteitag in Weimar, 3 – 4 July 1926 – RRRRR The first really big gathering of the NSDAP after the ban on the party was lifted. Due to the bad economy of the party, the badge was made from cardboard. As of today, only five or six surviving examples are known to collectors, making it one of the rarest badges from the NSDAP in existence. It was also the first Reichsparteitag badge made by the NSDAP, but not the first meeting badge.
Oberharzer Heimattag und Nat. Soz. Kundgebung, Clausthal-Zellerfeld, 1929? – RRRRR A badge hard to date badge from an event that was both a local traditional celebration and a National Socialist meeting. The Oberharzer Heimattag was founded by Hermann Muhs, who joined NSDAP in September 1929, it is not unlikely that the badge was from 1929. Since the event was only held every five years. And the other known one was held in 1934.
Deutschland Erwache Bochum, 1929 – RRR An early meeting badge, that could be a so called slogan badge as well.
