Propaganda

The written and printed propaganda almost exclusively was flyers and posters. Just like today posters was the primary way to communicate with voters, members or customers. The posters and flyers from the Weimar Republic has a lot of information to share. Below is a collection of propaganda from the Weimar era from both big and small organizations.

Deutschnationaler Handlungsgehilfen-Verband – Propaganda flyer (c. early 1900s)
A big sized flyer with the title “Völkische Arbeit” published by the Deutschnationaler Handlungsgehilfen-Verband. The organization was a nationalist and völkisch trade union, which sought to compete with the socialist trade unions.

Deutscher Erneuerungs gemeinde – Aufklärungsblätter 203 (c. early 1900s)
A big flyer with the title “Quote faker?” by the famous antisemitic journalist Theodor Fritsch. Fritsch was instrumental in the formation of the Reichshammerbund among other völkisch groups in the early 1900s.
