Badges, awards and medals

Medal of the Iron Division 1919 – 450 € or swap
Very rare original medal from the Eiserne Division, that fought in the Baltics and Russian civil war. While the ribbon clearly is the same as EKII 1914, it could very well have been there originally as the medal, usually, had a very similar ribbon.

Reichsparteitag 1929 in Nürnberg Sold
A very nice example of the event issued Reichsparteitag badge from 1929. Made by Hoffstätter Bonn. The condition is very good, but there is some gray/white dirt on the backside of it, which could easily be cleaned away probably. But that is a decision for the new owner to make.

Membership badge from the Reichsflagge paramilitary organization. Attachment has been period replaced.

Early NSDAP sympathy badge 150 € SOLD
A nice painted stickpin with an early looking stubby arm swastika. Very rare.

Postcards, photos and misc. paper

Very rare postcard from Deutscher Tag in Nürnberg 1-2 September 1923 – 250 € or swap
The first really big gathering of the Bavarian nationalist organizations. The event was originally thought to have been a commemorative event for the victory in the Battle of Sedan 1871, but rather escalated to a putschist rally. It became a springboard for the Beer Hall Putsch with the Deutscher Kampfbund being formed during the event, and in the same time became the blueprint for the later NSDAP Reichsparteitag events, with one exception, all held in Nürnberg. The postcard was printed by Panzerfaust Verlag in Nürnberg. Good condition for a very early piece of NS history, except for a small pinhole on the right side. Unwritten.

Rare Freikorps Hülsen postcard – 100 €
Postcards from the Freikorps movement are generally quite rarely seen, as the Freikorps was more focused on the fighting, more than making propaganda materials for their cause, in most cases. This postcard depicts two Bolshevists grabbing the German countryside. The text reads: Volunteers forward! For the protection of German lands against Bolshevism and Poles, enlist yourself in Freikorps Hülsen.

Ration card/food coupons from Freikorps Kühme – 100 €
A ragged Eßmarke, or food coupon from Freikorps Kühme which saw action in Oberschlesien. The Freikorps soldier issued this Eßmarke, seems to have confused the card with actual food as it is pretty chewed up, and interestingly enough, none of the dates surrounding the card seems to have been punched, which further points to a soldier that saw the card as food.

A well decorated officer from Freikorps Epp, sporting the Iron Cross 1st class and the iconic Freikorps Epp rhombus on the left sleeve.
